| Converting a Demo/Trial to a Full Version Your demo/trial version can be converted to a full version by purchasing an activation code starting at $39.97 US ($49.97 CDN) for the base version. This is a one-time charge. In addition there are various optional modules which are $19.97 US ($24.97 CDN) each. If you are not sure whether you need a particular module, you can always add it on later. Each copy of the Data Krypter™ has a unique serial number which depends, in part, on your name. (To see the serial number, click on Serial Number on the main window.) The activation code for your serial number, will activate the base version and whatever optional modules you have purchased. To buy an activation code: 1. Go to nuverb.com/dk-buynow and fill in the form. You will be given an activation code when your purchase is completed. or 2. Call 1-888-479-4636 or 1-866-688-3727 with your credit card number. You will be given an activation code over the phone. When you receive your activation code: 1. You will receive an email with a link to download the full version. Install the full version in the same folder where the demo/trial is. 2. Start the Data Krypter™ and click on Serial Number on the main window. 3. Type the activation code into the Activation Code field. Record it for future reference. 4. Click OK and the software plus any modules you purchased become activated. (You will see a checkmark beside the modules you purchased.) 5. Click OK again to close the window. Differences between the trial and full versions:
If your demo/trial version expires before you enter the activation code, all of the data you previously encrypted can still be decrypted. (i.e. no data will be lost) However, any new data you encrypt can be decrypted only by someone with a full version. This means that encrypted data can be exchanged between individuals and only one of them must have the full version. |
